The Most Enormous Week Ever

I just arrived home from Soekarno-Hatta airport, Jakarta after taking a flight from KLIA, Kuala Lumpur. Just yesterday at this time I was standing in the rain, waiting for the gate into Super Show 3 opened. Gosh just like our leader, Leeteuk said, it's always raining whenever they do the SS3. I with my friend, her sister and her friend, were standing in the yellow plastic raincoat which could rip off anytime. I was holding a big bag w/ many fansigns inside and the raincoat just didn't do much help in preventing them from getting wet. We just had two umbrellas so there was no way to stay dry and have the best look for the media who was shooting us. Idk how, but the Cosmo Newspaper suddenly came to take our picture and interview us. My friend's sister was so eagerly pointing the fact that I'm an Indonesian who flew oversea just to watch Super Junior lol and I think the reporter got that point since he asked me when I arrived there. Actually while wandering in the burning hot sun waiting for my friend and hunting the merchandise, I heard so many fans talking in Bahasa Indonesia. In other words, I'm not a special case anyway.

Okay, before beginning the story of my very precious experience of watching SS3 Malaysia, let me tell you how chaotic this week is. This week starts from Monday, 14th March and ends on Sunday, 20th March.

Monday, 14th March
I skipped class because at the morning I had headache and slight flu. I couldn't sleep for the whole night and I think it was due to the cappuccino I had the previous day. I never skipped class before so I felt a bit guilty and messed up. I was so tired of handling so many stuffs, especially for SS3, and I also didn't wanna take risk of getting sick on Tuesday because I had Far East Movement's Concert. The fact is, I tried my best to be super healthy that week because yes, I bought tickets for two concerts that happened on the same week. Crazy.. but it's not even all.. I also had my own Med Spiritui Cantus (MSC) concert, a kind of choir and drama concert. I gotta practice almost everyday and went back home no earlier than 5pm. While doing so, I needed to prepare my list of things for SS3. Plus don't forget that this was the first day of my new material study in campus; what a good student.

Tuesday, 15th March
Right after my class finished, I and my friend headed to CP (a mall) using busway to find an extra battery since I had predicted that one battery wouldn't be enough for recording the whole Yesung-focus fancams. It was raining but we were safe inside the bus. In CP, fortunately I found the place having the battery. I intended to buy two but well, it's quite embarrassing... I didn't bring enough money... So I just bought one and prayed that its power wouldn't be any less than my original Canon's one.
Around 6pm, my other friend picked us to Istora Senayan, the venue of FEM's Concert. From the official site, it was written that the concert started at 7pm and it was FEM's Concert, period. Thus we rushed out to the venue in the traffic jam of Jakarta's evening road. There, we spent like half hour trying to find the entrance and where to queue. The girls dressed quite frantically; most of them wore heels and hot pants. Since I went there directly from campus, I had no chance of looking sophisticated lol The bag checking was so messed up like most things happening in this country. You can see the board w/ "NO CAMERA, NO FOOD AND DRINK" at the entrance, but my camera w/ its big case was safely got inside. The guard only cared about the food and drink because they wanted to get our money. Compared w/ SS2 Malaysia, it felt like heaven.
Since we were in Terrace, we got seated. I begun testing my camera by taking pics and recording some random stuffs. Just then I found out about HD (1280x720px) mode in my cam and I felt so grateful because later I could record very clear Yesung-focus fancams. This Canon Powershot S95 is really good. Of course it's not in the same level w/ DSLR yet but for a digital camera, it's one of few that you can depend on.

Here pics of me and my friends plus the stage before the concert began

7pm had passed. The MC came out (I guess he's Indonesian) and spoke English to us. The festival began to get full but the terrace seats were quite empty. The left and right wings (our place) weren't full. It was a bit regretful since I read that their concert in Bangkok was full-house. Well, I think they still didn't have many fans here OR the promotion wasn't done much enough. Anyway, while the MC talking, the big screen flashed out some scenes. There was scene w/ all the opening DJs written and we were like O.O 4 or 5 opening DJs, like WHAT??!!! We thought that we had a full FEM's Concert!! And then the first DJ performed for about half hour and thus you can expect how long the opening was. The fact was we were so tired and bored waiting for about 4 hours w/ FEM nowhere to be seen. The festival audience lost their excitement too and begun screaming FEM to come out since they'd stood for 4 hours/holyshit. The MC kept coming out and teasing us but after few hours, the audience didn't find him funny anymore. My friends' parents kept calling them and at that time I felt so grateful my parents didn't call me that night. W/ the loud clubbing song and people's voice around, you can't expect them to not misunderstanding what I was doing LMAO Around 10pm, the last DJs did their perf and became the MC as well. I guess the original MC didn't dare to come out lol The last DJs wore masks throughout the whole perf.. Hmm weird.. Well however, at 11pm, DJ Virman came to the stage and all people were screaming!! We really couldn't wait any longer!! DJ Virman looked cute w/ the blue shirt and tie (and of course, black specs). He started to arrange things and DJing. After few minutes passed, the stage turned dark. All people screamed, and I was busy watching all over the black stage to find them. My cam caught some figures moving up to the stage and there we had: FAR EAST MOVEMENT!!!!

The song list they performed consecutively:
1) Girls On The Dance Floor
2) If I Was You (OMG) say "o"
3) Idk the title but it was good
4) So What
5) Don't Look Now
6) 2gether
7) Fighting For Air "AIR!!!"
8) White Flag (half instruments) Kev Nish playing guitar, Prohgress playing keyboard, and J-Splif DJing
9) Like A G6 (all fans went wild and jumped all around lol)
10) Rockeeter (fans singing along so beautifully)
11) Encore

The whole show was full of energy. Despite of waiting for hours, the fans were so excited and showed high appreciation through the whole performance. My friend danced and jumped along w/ the beat. Unfortunately for a fancamer like me, jumping and screaming were permitted only if I wanted to ruin the whole video. So while others were so high, I remained calm and held my camera tightly following Kev Nish, Prohgress and J-Splif. DJ Virman was at the higher part of the stage all the time so I couldn't get much of him =( It ended around 12pm so basically we just had 1 hour of the real FEM Concert /cryariver Everyone was so sleepy; one of my friends even fell asleep during the concert lol My friend took us to my other friend's home then he, the home owner, got his car and took me and his friend home. I just arrived home at 2am and felt hella sleepy. Right after my friend left, gosh I just realized that I left my phone in his car. Panic because I didn't memorize his phone number, I frantically contacted him through Twitter and FB. Feeling afraid that he would just sleep w/o checking anything, I tried to find his number. Lucky me; he put it on his FB. I called him by my home phone and again, lucky me, he hadn't slept yet. He promised me to bring it on the morning, thx God. Honestly, after knowing that the concert wouldn't end less than 12pm, I'd been thinking to skip classes on the following day. The classes would end at 11am but I had rehearsal at 1pm. Since that week was extremely important and there was no chance to get sick, I decided to skip classes and came to rehearsal lol So I just had my friend signing the absence for me and watched the fancams till 4am. I was awed by my camera's quality; the stage was about 20m far and yes, I used HD mode which spent battery and memory faster. But they were worth it, really. Watching through the camera was even clearer than watching directly. Ah I felt so excited thinking how SS3 Malaysia's fancams would look like.

Well, I guess I gotta split the story into few parts. One concert ended but two more were waiting and I wondered if I could have more. The biggest one was yet to come =)
